This was a good video topic I went back home for holiday and my hometown felt so stagnant I felt like the world was moving so fast everything was growing around me then back there it felt like everyone wasn't doing much for themselves and I definitely didn't want to go back the energy felt weird.

I left my hometown two days after I got my high school diploma... hopped on a Greyhound with a duffle bag of clothes and only $5,000 dollars to my name which took me two years to save. Louisiana to Minnesota on my own never looked back.

I went back to my hometown for the past year and ive felt so bored with life and lonely around my childhood friends. Im the black sheep of my family, but my family respects me now. Im moving back to the town i moved to initially because i want to grow as a person and i know that wont happen in my hometown

If you guys read the Bible y’all will find that all of these things you guys try to understand off of your own understanding is already prophesied in the Bible. You need to be separated from these people of your home town so the lord can work on you and isolate you it’s not about the vain things or work ethics in life it’s about the worth ethic you put into your salvation and that ethic of work in your heart that you put towards helping people and living righteously that’s what matters, turn to Christ brothers and sisters and he will set you free I promise🙏🖤

I grew up in Northern California in a small town as well it just seemed like everyone was very small minded and if you moved different you’d feel the envy of others even with family the same thing I moved my family to Dallas Tx and we’re doing much better now

Bro I graduated from a small town and went to college an hour away. Then after college I moved to a big city but it was only 45 minutes from my home town. I felt like I really made it and left the small town. But in reality, that small town is just an extension of this big city I’m currently living in. I’m realizing I’ve been a townie and I regret it. Ready to move 1,000 miles away

Learn what you can from the hometown and grow as much as possible. When you grow as much as possible you’ll begin to feel that push to go. I have a big hometown so there’s opportunity but I’m ready to go to a different place

Don’t follow advice from random people on instagram and KZitem. It’ll leave you broke and more anxious. Nothing wrong with staying in your hometown or having a 9-5 life if you have stability and a strong support system. Just learn to be more content and grateful for what you have instead of having FOMO.
