This is absolutely beautiful! Thank you my brother. This is what I'm trying to do now. Just focus and key in on my faith in Yeshua(Jesus) and Yehovah( the Father) as long as I have faith I can walk on water. As long as I ask for him truths he will open the door to me. I have just been "expelled from the synagogue." I pointed out that the Bible clearly tells us not to trust men, Psalm 146:3 and Jeremiah 17:5, in fact we are cursed if we do, and the fact that the ONLY person we are ever told to trust is Jehovah himself, so the GB demanding our trust is overstepping their authority. I read them 2 John 9, 10, and pointed out asking for trust is pushing ahead of scripture. Reasoning from the scripture was enough to get me disfellowshipped. I do not recognise their authority to do so, they no longer have Jehovah's spirit in any measure. I am proud to be dishonoured for upholding Jehovah's standards.

Jesus point: By faith you can accomplish anything--like walking on water! Eric's point: We can worship OUTSIDE a highly structured organization because faith gives us eyes to see what is not visible!! People who worship with spirit can be guided as a group without a controlling visible bludgeoning authority! The spirit does not work through one little group of men, but through the entire Christian congregation--through any group that is open to receiving its direction. We must turn to Jesus and seek out others with right minds and hearts. Jesus said, "For where there are two or three gathered together in my name, there I am in their midst.” Matthew 18:20 Thank you so much Eric for your discerning mind and heart that shows us in such a profound setting (on such an immense body of water as that lake) what is so reassuring and obvious when we are not afraid. We can walk on water when we look to Jesus and not to men.

Hi Melissa,... I'm not trying to replace your getting a reply from Brother Wilson, but when I read your comment, I just wanted to reply to you, too. The point you made about having been raised in a strict but hypocritical JW family resonated with me. It seems to me that the hypocrisy of the Watchtower organization got absorbed also by the families it controled. Love got replaced by a mountain of rules, and those rules were only inforceable on the underlings,... not on the ones in charge, as for example, on the parents. They were free to be tyrants, like their model the Watchtower. I'm sorry for what you've been through. There might be a Christian group meeting physically in your area. Losing one's faith in a religion can be very traumatic, much like losing a loved one. Some have even committed suicide. There are five stages of grief that one might experience. psychcentral.com/lib/the-5-stages-of-loss-and-grief/ However, if you still have faith in God and Jesus, then it is much easier. I believed we were the one true religion, but I never invested faith in men. I saw too much stupidity at the highest levels to give into that, but many have and for them the devastation when the organization is eventually brought down by its own wrongdoing will be beyond imagining. However, since you're one of the minority who continue to have faith in God and haven't allowed the treachery of men to undo that relationship, I can assure you that what lies ahead is so very much better than what you are leaving behind. I always felt my relationship with God lacked something, but couldn't put my finger on just what that was. Now I have the relationship I was wanted. Hang in there. You are being called out to greater things than you can possibly imagine. “. . .But just as it is written: “Eye has not seen and ear has not heard, nor have there been conceived in the heart of man the things that God has prepared for those who love him.” For it is to us God has revealed them through his spirit, for the spirit searches into all things, even the deep things of God.” (1Co 2:9, 10)

@ Drew McNeil, you have the right idea but understand that most of what you learned is the truth because it came from God’s word. Don’t throw that away. I am at the same place you all are at right now and have been my entire adult life. I got baptized in 2005 and I love being a JW. I thought I would be DF’ed a long time ago because of the beliefs I disagree with but I never cause chaos in the congregation or tried to start a revolution or anything. I just simply used my common sense and conscience on certain matters. For example, I came into the truth never believing you had to confess your sins to a group of men, stop talking to a DF person, and I never believe the GB or “Faithful and Discreet Slave” were God’s spokesman or infallible. Jehovah’s Holy Spirit directs all of his servants. But the organization is just that....ORGANIZATION. Things need to be done is an organized manner and they provide that. However, always obey God rather than men!!! And Love people. Don’t let policies stand in the way of showing love to the brothers and sisters. I love the organization of the meetings, convention, etc. If hear something I don’t agree with I do studying and if I still don’t agree than I won’t teach that thing to my children or students.

Really appreciate your perspective and insight. One of my biggest problems with the Awakening process was that I had problems with the org, not with my believing in God. Sure, I learned things in the org but I had that cognitive dissonance and it left me so restless and anguished. The things you say and present are in defiance of following men but faith strengthening towards believing in God. You stick with and harmonize with a balanced view of the Scriptures. For instance, you ask, "Who is the faithful and discreet slave?" And that it is an arrogance to claim "we are" as the GB has done. I would think to myself "Jesus asked that question and it echoes through time until He himself finalizes who that slave is. These men have arrogantly proclaimed that they are." Thanks for taking the time to make all your videos and posting them online!! And love the way you critiqued and “exSplaned” that “waiter” illustration!

How many times did Paul walk in faith without the support of his fellow Christians. While he was in prison some of the congregations elders were arguing over control and looking down on him for being in prison. He looked to Yahshua to get him through these things. In a prison being abused and abandoned all he had was his faith. Remember when he said me being here is doing me no good but the father knows my trials are to help strengthen you he said he'd be much better off going to the Father and his being in the flesh was really only to help others. That's Faith.

Since I have left the "org" I have found so many ex JW's struggling to still have faith in God, the Bible and humanity. What I have found is either people lean toward a distant good they still do not understand or stop believing in one at all. I would encourage people to look inside yourself. Man made religion is just that. And I do not subscribe or prescribe to man's interpretation of anything. What is wrong with living ones life and just let it be. If there is a good, it will somehow be revealed. If there is not, that will be revealed as well. Just be a decent human being and let it all alone. If everyone who searches would just be honest, no one human has any or all of the answers.

Fantastic video Eric, this one especially has helped me to get the correct scriptural take on what Jesus said. Unlike the twisted version from watchtower. Freedom tastes so good. Love from U.K. x

Hi, I have been enjoying your videos. I am a Christian woman. I have a dear friend who is a JW ×32 years. He will not listen to my testimony. My question to you and your group of awakened JW'S is this, would you all pray for him, I do every day. I pray so much for his awakening and for him to see the real Jesus Christ. Please pray for him. His names is Jim. Thank you.

In watching your videos, Brother Wilson, I noticed that you have not addressed Hebrews 10:25 , "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the day approaching." I long to meet with a group of like-minded people in person. I appreciate the videos and that would be in sense like assembling together? I live in southern Idaho. Are there any others that live in the area? Sincerely, Jared.

The true crime of the JW organisation is that those indoctrinated by them either follow a distorted caricature of the true Trinitarian Christian God until they die or leave the organisation so traumatised that very few have to courage to believe in God again. Both situations are indeed tragic and the GB will be held accountable to God for their misdeeds. Thank you Eric for so much insight and for proving that one can be a true follower of Christ after being a JW. May God continue blessing you immensely.

Thank you for your videos, for the love and care you pour into them to help others who are sincerely seeking. I’m left wondering though, where to find like-minded Christians with whom to associate, encouraging one another, and to form new friendships. I’ve noticed so many former Jehovah’s Witnesses on KZitem and among online groups who seem to have let their spiritual pendulum swing to the other extreme and become Atheists after leaving the Organization... I find that so disheartening. I’ve tried a few other Christian churches but I just don’t see the Trinity as being scriptural, and it is a real sticking point that you do with some churches! Would you perhaps, have any suggestions in this regard? Thank you again for your time, effort and care you expend on behalf of your fellow Christians and all who are seeking. 😊

Hi Trixie. Finding association is definitely a problem. Those who have a marriage mate and family perhaps don't feel the need for Christian association as acutely as those who are single. And even married couples would enjoy sharing food and other projects with other wholesome adults. The trinity doctrine stopped me from attending one otherwise acceptable Zoom group. I don't currently have any ideas. But please come back and post if you find a solution.

Thank you, Eric Wilson for all of your videos. I just found them on KZitem in the past month. My concern is my need to gather with other sincere Christians, like Heb. 10:25 encourages. We know there were many congregations of true followers in the 1st C. that followed Christ's teachings and had his Father's blessing. That is what I've been looking for since leaving the Witnesses 20+ yrs ago. Unfortunately, every Christian church I've visited has the Trinity as a foundational doctrine. Tho' raised from birth until 40 yrs. old as a Witness, I did try to sincerely wrap my brain around accepting that doctrine. I cried out numerous times to Jehovah God to show me the truth...I just never could see the truth of the Trinity. So while I know Jesus is the only one to turn to, where do I physically look or go to be a part of something resembling the 1st C. Christian congregations?! Where do I physically go to take part in what Heb. 10:25 encourages, and all the more so as the day approaches? I ask this very sincerely. I wish you well, good health and God's blessing. 💗

Look into Biblical Unitarian. There are quite a few different groups, many do not have a specific denomination. Christadelphians are also non trinitarian.

I had a challenge with the Trinity at first but after prayer reading the bible understsnding. Ask God should I belive You are Holy,Holy,Holy The bible says one true God. Ask yourself is Jesus really just a god? Or did he forgive sins when he was on earth? Did he raise the dead and heal people? Remember whenJesus went back to heaven what he said. I am going to send you a helper. Holy spirit. As a beliver the same power that rose Jesus from the grave lives in us. Trust God that he will reveal to you right from wrong. I will also pray anyone reading this will have a understanding. Read John chapter 1 study research.

We feel a heart felt joy as we see people waking up out of false religions. Some reactions are: some become atheists; some just want to finally enjoy living with a wordly attitude, without guilt; some join a “Christian church” and go into a lighter form of deception; or even suicide. God is real outside of the religion that you've been in. There is hope. We would encourage people to try a few episodes of Richard Jordan and Les Feldick (you tube videos available) for non-denominational helpful Bible study, and a key on how to read and understand your Bible, and to prevent you from being misled in another way. Satan is also real and works to deceive you in any way that he can. He's been at it a long time. Always do your research on everything: church history, doctrine, Bible version, translation, etc. Our hope is that this will help. Feedback is welcome. B&J in NH

Where do I go now? When I saw the "hypocrisy" of the "churches", I went home, put my " bible" in front of me and prayed. "God our Father (Yahweh - Hebrew), I "desire to walk in your TRUTH", as I only find half truths, which is NOT the "absolute TRUTH of your WORD". If you want me to walk and live in your "TRUTH", please show, and teach me". I had read that "ALL scripture was to there to teach me how to live " righteously before God". I read how David loved the "Law and teachings of Yahweh (God), that was precious than "gold". The Psalms touched me as David wrote much about what I was dealing with, and I used the Psalms (especially 119) as my "prayers to God (Yahweh). I started from Genesis again. Going through it "precept upon precept", line upon line" etc, and the "Spirit of God (Yahweh), started to open my mind to the "HIDDEN MANNA". Seeing the deeper spiritual aspects of the "scriptures". If I was not sure I asked God (Yahweh) about it. Unexpectedly the " answer would come". It was at times a "lonely" walk for me, yet I grew "spiritually" and my "faith and trust in God" (Yahweh) increased. The things of the "world" started to fade into the background and I could not wait to get back to the Scriptures, hoping for more "gold nuggets of "TRUTH", to had to my " treasure chest of TRUTH"). The pathway we walk, is a "very narrow one" and many do not like to walk on it, they prefer to take the broad path with many others. I still continue to walk this sometimes lonely path, meeting a few along the way, yet it has been, and still is the most "wonderful journey", with surprises of more "gold nuggets" to pick up. One is never really alone, as Yeshua (Christ) said, "I will never abandon you, nor forsake you", and I know he is walking with me. The "church", is just a building. Its the people who make the "family of Yahweh", not the building. Even if it is in your home, with others of like mind, seeking the "will of Yahweh (God)" and learning from Him". If you need "wisdom" ask for it, and it shall be given to you. Seek truth and you shall find it, when you look for it, like one looks for "hidden treasure", one will find the "gold nuggets of TRUTH for ones "treasure chest".

Yes that’s true, but how sombady hwo lives outside of ANY denomination, can build his own community? Or it must live like in Patriarchy like Avraam? Should baptize his own child? Or if he is ( associating ) with other ( free thinkers) he is not become a member of ( another denomination)? He will use a Bible hwo is translated by other ( denomination) hwo may have ( doctrinal discrepancy) slightly introduces in the Bible? And much more questions! As a active jw I put this question to myself. Is it the body of Christ ( ekklesia) upper the all denomination? How we can apply the advice from Hebrews 10:24,25? If any denomination ( including jw) have bad interpretations we should leave immediately that association? Yes it’s wright Jesus can lead, but today we don’t have the gift of Holy Spirit to lead someone with (powers and miracles)! And there is more to say in this matter! Can anyone tell me?
