+anf9311 I do believe Game 6 in 2012 vs Celtic had the most pressure tho. Going into the Garden, everybody in the NBA wanted to see the Heat fall so badly once again after the meltdown James had in the Finals the before, and to put all the haters to rest and close it out in Game 7 and win his first chip, just my opinion tho.
@anf9311
8 жыл бұрын
I agree. That and the Detroit game are basically 1a and 1b for me for their own reasons. Knowing how established Detroit was as East powerhouses at the time and for him to go in there in just his 4th season, 2nd postseason, and literally single-handedly win the game on the offensive end will always resonate with me. Plenty of players have carried teams before but I may never see a guy score nearly 30 straight to close a game again, especially that young. Like Steve Kerr said, it was "Jordan-esque." As for the Celtics game, he did indeed snatch Boston's heart that night with not just his game, but his mentality while doing it. He was stone-faced the whole night and truly had a "I'm not losing" look in his eyes. I don't know what kind of zone he was in but he needs to revisit it tonight, as I type this 30 minutes before Game 5. It's hard to put one over the other, but Game 6 in the TDGarden was definitely his most pressurized game.
@jonathanmack6285
8 жыл бұрын
+anf9311 Yeah, the Boston game 6 was more mental. Having to overcome the pressure, haters, and expectations. I do believe Lebron plays his best when the stakes are rock bottom, when they cant get worse. Boston game 6 was an example, along with his greatest individual Finals performance ever last year vs the Warriors where he averaged 36 13 and 9, both those senarios were the worst it could get. The Detroit one was more about himself and carrying his team, not really about doubters, not to take anything off this performance but Game 6 in Boston CHANGED his WHOLE career man.

Far from my favorite player, but you have to stop demonizing this man. LeBron James is a once in a generation talent and when he's gone people will regret not simply admiring his gifts and instead talking trash all the time. I was never a Heat fan and I definitely am not a Cleveland fan, but watching this guy carry his team for the last 5 finals have built up so much begrudging respect for this all time great player. Feel free to disagree, but don't hate him for such trivial reasons.
