+Lord Lucas Wow. Never heard that argument before. I can guarantee you that if you actually asked a basketball legend if they would discount Russell, Rick Barry, Chamberlain, etc, they would say no. Michael Jordan has said many times that two of his favorite players are Julius Erving (who played in a league of 11 teams), and Bill Russell (who played in a league of eight). When ESPN interviewed Julius Erving, he said that he would take Russell, Chamberlain, Oscar Robertson, Jerry West and Elgin Baylor. All of the players noted played between the late 1950s and early 1980s. I'm sorry, but I will take the opinion of Dr. J and Michael Jordan over your moronic opinion.

And if you're talking about those all-star traveling teams he was on or whatever that's not really a national championship its own separate kind of league but my whole point was about a slam dunk you fucking idiot... I said the slam dunk that LeBron did was no big deal if he's going to talk shit he should do a dunk that Jordan wasn't doing in middle school.. Jordan=greatest player of all time, Lebron=the greatest player of all time. -the debates will go on forever, but you cannot tell me that there is anything conclusive; I've heard both sides; Jordan fans arguments are basic and blunt, lebron fans arguments are more complex and contextual and hypothetical but more logical; At this point I think they are dead even in my mind, and there's no real way to know for sure, but they are the top 2 no question. And I know someone's going to shout out their classic argument, but sir or mam', I've already heard it on a loop for the last two years, save your breath.

Look at the era Lebron and Michael played in. Look at the talents in each of those eras. Michael played against Magic, Bird, The Bad Boys, Reggie Miller, Patrick Ewing, Clyde the Glide, David Robertson. The talent was so spread out and some how Michael managed to stay atop these greats. Lebron is in an era where all of the leagues top talent are guards! 6'3-6'5 guards. Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook, Steph Curry, Chris Paul, James Harden. Lebron tops these people because of pure size and athletism, not ability. So Michael was in a tougher era along with more spread out talent and he was able to 3 peat twice and be the best ever. Lebron can't and will never be able to do that.

Just imagine, Barkley ínstead of going to the suns he go to the rockets in 1993 or barkley going with drexler against jordan and pipen or payton with the jazz in 1997/1998.
