Minicourse: Geometrical topics in the theory of self-similar fractals by Andrei Tetenov
Strange behavior of the measure of intersections for some self-similar sets. Open set condition and weak separation property, their effects upon dimension, measure and geometry of the attractor. Small quasitranslations and smoothness of self-similar Jordan arcs. Multizipper representation of self-similar arcs. Smooth self-affine arcs.
Andrei Tetenov received his DPhil from Sobolev Institute of Mathematics in 2011. He is currently a Leading Researcher at Sobolev Institute of Mathematics and Professor at Novosibirsk State University. His research interests include Kleinian groups, geometric topology and fractal geometry.
