Am new on your channel since Last week. But am learning a lot from you thanks lot. Good work. Change an ic from a main board it takes a lot of time. And need good tools. Like magnifying glass to see the small things. A blower Flux desoldering copper. And a good detective technician like you also. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ From Mauritius. Have a nice day.

Great video. I think applying flux in the procedure of the desoldering would help you a lot and also help to not thermal stretching the ic so much. Theres many cheap replicas flux on China market that are great.

Excellent presentation, one for me...if you allow me a question for you: What is the adjusted value of the hot air flow that you use to replace the MSD6306 (I read in one of your answers to a comment that the temperature is 420 degrees)? I watched on YT the way in which an integrated circuit with many pins and...those who have done this operation (in most of them, with material possibilities that far exceed mine) use a pre-heating device to help the hot air blower...I see that you have the ability to strip and without pre-heating the circuit, this is due to the experience accumulated over time, I think... in my country, at prices of approximately 150 euros (US dollars), I can purchase the Gordak, Baku 702B or equivalent brands... I'm going to try to buy such a workstation, just for experiments and free time using defective electronic boards from old HDDs or from defective internet network boards... I admit that this technique is beyond me and I'm not even looking at it of course you will thank you for your kindness and help

My hot air station is not digital so I only guessing the temperature . I'm in this work about 35 year atlases. These hot air are not included to my tools. When a tv becomes like a computer circuit now, so I need lean that hot air how to manage it. Thats why I don't use hot air im my other's video because I'm not expert on it. Sorry for the bad English, by the way thanks for your support.

@@tevzTVTevatronics My respect for you, professor, and thank you for the lessons I follow on YT, with your kindness...my "English" is not that advanced either...I also use Google translate many times... important are the indications and recommendations that I understand more easily, thanks to your way of conveying them... and, I saw that not the fact of having the "latest tools" help (such as the pre-heating plate or the latest "news" of multimeters, most of the time very expensive) are important in this field, much more important are the experience and inventiveness of the way to solve a malfunction...not to mention the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired in so many years of your activity in this field... my big problem is the close-up "view" of the small components and the distance required to use the soldering gun in that narrow space... I follow you with pleasure and respect, because I have a lot to learn from you. .thank you, on a this way, for everything you make known on YT, about your daily activity and I wish you good health and satisfied customers in the new year 2023... from Romania, Eastern Europe, thank you for all your lessons
