I am one of the irrational Zeppelin fans who went in search of the 45 single, and found it in a small record store in 1984. It was the only way to own it, and I had to have it. I love the physical media, as you can put your hands on it...

Actually the song did make it on an American record > Best of Atlantic Records 1970 . Very Rare only a few hundred copies are known to exist. I had the UK version not that rare.

I remember calling the radio station asking how do I get this song!? They told me that it was impossible. So I requested it and lamely recorded it. Then I found out recently that it was, in fact, available. I still love this song!! Really really loud!!! ❤️❤️❤️✌️

It's a great and fantastic tune that as a musician you'd love to want to play, and love doing so. One of Zep's finest.

I love to see different cultures having epiphanies over this music. Your analogy of Hooties example compared to Zeppelins original is spot on. I’ve heard The blowfish’s example and it’s embarrassing, why would they even attempt to emulate these masters?? God bless all!

Right. Plant uses his voice as an instrument better than almost any other band. Few vocalists compare.

LOL! I just bought 3 45’s from an online market, hoping one will be good. This is a great fncking tune. But they didn’t think good enough for the album. Groups try to do zeppelin songs. It’s a mistake.

It's funny that you mentioned "Stairway to Heaven" as untouchable. Normally, I would agree. However, in 2012 Heart did an excellent cover of that song at the Kennedy Center Honors Led Zeppelin. Many celebrities were in attendance, including Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, and Jimmy Page. Jason Bonham played drums. The Obamas were there too. Here is the link which has been viewed nearly 118,000,000 times. Enjoy! kzitem.info/news/bejne/k5mQxXl8ep-bY20

@@SoulTrainBro what I really like about The Who is that their albums are great, but even more impressive is their live performances that they are known for, especially from 1967 to 1976. Live At Leeds from 1970 set the bar very high for live rock n roll albums. No studio clean ups, overdubs, etc. Just plain old rock n roll from a 3 piece band, very impressive. Really enjoy your reactions, you are a fantastic interpreter. Great job.

You’re so dead-on that certain songs or movies should not be reproduced. It’s art. You wouldn’t recreate the Mona Lisa. Why would you do it with those other two art forms? It takes a special arrogance to cover perfect songs, as if you can improve upon perfection.
