Got into Zep around '87 as a teenager. I discovered this song a couple years later on a bootleg tape of sketchy sound quality. But man when I heard this for the first time I was totally blown away. It was Jimmy's slide guitar riff that got me. Song still gives me goosebumps!

It's B side I think pretty sure it's not on the original album pressing. Zeppelin didn't release singles back then so I'm guessing it first appeared late 80s or 90s so it's not one of their most well know. All of that could be wrong but I think that is the case. Always dug this song. It's not common when one of the band members is in most peoples top 5. When all 4 band members are in a most or a whole lot of peoples top 5, well that's just magic. Imagine living Robert Plant or Jimmy Pages or any of their lives around 73, 74, 75? Just made my head explode.

Forgive me if it's been mentioned..i haven't read comments..The song was originally recorded by black blues artist Robert Johnson in 1937. Led Zeppelin did a fine remake but let's not forget the original. I don't care for the "she's only 16" lyric but that aside, imho we should credit Zeppelin for their version and credit rhe original artist.
