Because you still need volume. You hit a body part for on day, let’s say for 1 hour, the rest for a week? There’s nothing for it to heal from at that point. That’s why PPL and Full Body have become so popular, because of increased volume throughout the week instead of throughout 1 day

@@stanclips8227 again this is what we call an anecdote. This is simply an account that supports the video. An account of a woman who chose the split that is best supported by science(splits that workout a muscle 2-3 times a week) and a man who chose bro splits because his old trainer did them. But when a woman is packing on muscle faster than a man I think it is best to look at the routine especially when he is eating more than me and eating more protein and we started at the same time. He’ll tell anyone I have delts and traps bigger than his when I bs my upper body days but simply train them more often.
@stanclips8227
Жыл бұрын
@@Blue-wv3le first off, the bro split isn’t necessarily defined as one muscle group a day and training frequency is optional. Training intensity and genetics are also a big factor. For example, Tom Platz trained legs once a week and found it to have better results because of how intensely he could train. I’m not saying that what you are pointing out is wrong, but there are many factors and you can’t attribute you gaining more muscle than your bf because of just one of those factors.

Training a body part once every 9 days can be very effective for gaining muscle. High intensity, low volume, to muscular failure, 3 to 7 reps, heavy compound movements. Training one body part multiple times a week does not work for everyone just like training once every 9 days might not work for everyone. Plus Lee forgot to mention that his recovery time was sped up due to the peds he and his competitor's were taking.

@@joshuawickens8218 you can also see it as a "minimum effective volume" week . Like if u usually do 6 sets of 15 reps for your triceps.
