Wow, I thought he was established well before 2003... he's 35 here and in a recent interview he said he was 26 when he started obviously meaning smaller gigs but did it really take him nearly a decade to get noticed for tv? He sounds so different as well lol...

He had his own TV show in britain from about 1996 so he was established here

@@annother3350 He didn't get his own show until 2006, with Not Going Out. Before then he was in various shows like The Sketch Show and presented the final series of They Think It's All Over in 2005.

It was genuine back then, a few of his Would I Lie to You stories involves him hiding so he didnt have to perform, and getting his best mate to go on telly with him, only they pretended they were a juggling double act, but his mate had broke his hand. That was his first ever TV appearance on Pump TV
