Just curious, do you burn through edges with it ? Or keep the three adjustable plates up a bit so the main edge isn't touching the ground

It depends on the road we are on, I ride with it raised slightly and it’ll conserve the cutting edges, sometimes on a road with high center it’ll really burn through the blades. They are double edged so we flip em once .

Do you hook the dump truck up to the loader with a coupler?

@@Heavyroadequipment thanks for the response. I operate one. And where I work. Our drivers suck. Some are so bad at backing. I have no idea how they got their license. I'm trying to convince management to let me hook it up with a chain and pull the truck. I was just wondering if anyone does this. Since I'm not really sure of the limitations.

@@frogmanpipes9561 yeah I hear you, we have a couple drivers that make me consider a neck brace before stepping into the belt loader. the only thing that makes sense is a coupler similar to the chip spreader . getting different drivers to rotate out of the trucks has helped my situation.

How would it do in alot of rock ?

it doesnt do real well. you have to plan the job to be on flat ground or go up hill, lower the belt speed and or go slow. the rocks tend to get to the top of the belt loader part and want to roll back down and hit the cab. but it can be managed.
