We take a POV ride on 6x KONE escalators at the Leeds City Centre Railway station. These are all the type ‘RTV-HD-99G’, made in the Keighley, England 🏴 factory nearby. 4 of them with the older logo (on the right) were installed in 2000, with the other 2 being added in 2002. They lead up to the link bridge that connects platforms 9-17 to the rest of the platforms and the main exit. Unfortunately there is only one down escalator and not to the individual platforms.

**It’s very noisy in this station as there’s alot of older diesel trains passing through! The escalators themselves are very quiet and smooth, in great condition considering how busy this station usually is. This video was taken at a time considered ‘quiet’ in terms of numbers of people (It’s the only main station for Leeds itself, and a major interchange)…
