Oh happy days. Brings tears to my eyes. I was 15 back then and was in my usual spot behind the goal where all our goals went in. Leeds have been in my blood since September 66 when aged 9 my Dad took me to see us beat Sunderland 2-1. I can recall some great times down at Elland Road and ' My Boys' certainly ensured that this day was one of them cheers Lads , RIP Billy, our greatest ever player.

Bad day at the office for my team, but still great to watch - this was a golden era for English football. Great Leeds, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, Wolves, Everton, City and United (well until about 1970 anyway) teams, nearly every year there was a different First Division champion, and regular success in Europe too. Proper man's game in those days.

How I miss this kind of football. Back then it was a sport rather than a money making ,or losing, business , populated with prima donnas with no connection to the fans, and little sense of what the TEAM means to them

if Jonny Giles played today, he would be worth a fortune, Pogba could never match his passing, or effort

Cracking game, dominated by the great Leeds side of that time. the game back then was how it should be played,

The attackers could defend, and the defenders could attack whilst Eddie Gray made Georg Best look as though he was playing in "sea boots.

First time I've seen this set of highlights and how interesting they are. Everyone remembers the 30+ passes we strung together against Southampton a couple of weeks later, but the lads toyed with Man Utd too. Interesting that Allan Clarke was very instrumental in both those sessions of keep-ball.

I love Leeds. I was so sad when they got relegated. My heart is with them, and I hope they become great again.

these guys actually played for the pride of the club rather than the pay cheque, Leeds need to find that spirit again

The range of passing from Giles was a joy to watch.

When footballers were tough as the boots they were & weren't afraid of getting stuck in when it mattered & yep Leeds of old probably the best team of that era 👍👍👍

I was at this game, my first visit to Elland road and this happens. Celtic beat Leeds but don't forget Celtic had it easy in their respective League.Don't forget Leeds were playing 60 games a season on very heavy pitches agains some very very good sides. 18 internationals in the squad all from the the UK.These days the so called top sides spend a fortune to get silverware, some have NO UK born players in their team. Very sad to see.I think Leeds will come good again, but will take time.
