Totally agree with keeping your truck clean, vs a dirty truck. That's why you need to take pride in your job and do it to the best of your ability. Awsome interview, and i hope you keep them rolling. I found your channel by chance and i am loving the information you are putting out, and the success you have had in the industry.

Still on point good interview a clean ride is a sweet ride and I take pride in my ride as I see both of you do I didn't buy mine New but it turned heads and ran strong Ohio dot took notice when had my truck on a gravy run from southeastern, OH to southeastern, IN I did that over a year paid well and could go home any weekend of my choosing Ohio's dot would see me in a rest area that I hit all the time for my break and doing my post prip insp I would be fixing lights checking tires and brakes you know the stuff we should be doing anyway and they would check to see if I was ok or need any help it paid off several times when they would see me roll in and would say let him go we see him every day doubt if we can find anything wrong with his truck and trailer LIFE WAS GOOD, Truck safe my friends

I always hung around older cats myself. Learned some bad habits too...lol. But in trucking, misery loves company. You lose alot of friends in life or people who you thought were your friends. When you get ambitions and set goals and start breaking away from the party pack, people start hate'n yanno? Hell i got enough broke friends, I'm trying to talk to the gold pinky ring million milers and get pick up some pointers. I tell cats all the time. I dont wanna be no old'azz dude out here messing with this stuff because i have to be out here. I'll be out here because i wanna be out here because i love trucking and with very low overhead! Good looking out with that OOida retirement/401k program Stan! Can't rely on SSi to take care of you in your golden years any more. Stay sturdy Stan✌

I had to chuckle when he started talking about keeping your truck looking good. I will just further underscore the point. I can't tell you how many times I have been waved on by dot because of how I kept my truck up.

To many young arrogant people that think they deserve THE best of everything. That’s what is wrong. They don’t want to work for success. They want it given to them on a silver platter.

he has great knowledge.but he has a advantage I assume by his on choice.cause when you have a wife and family it really effects the way you operate your truck. and also there is more expense providing for your family. but enjoyed the interview.

camaro 454 i understand, yes trucking has an affect on family life, I'd been trucking on and off twenty nine years, eighteen consecutive it takes a lot of work for all parties I was blessed my endgame was planned well before I moved over to owner op status it was family first truck second me last I can say for me it worked very well plus I have the best woman on earth in my opinion she has always been by my side no matter if i was home or a thousand miles from her and the kid we are a team she handles the paperwork we both work the load boards and the kid love being on detail and polish patrol when i get home and every now and then i can get her to wrench on the truck with me lol anyway camaro 454 it was great chatting and I had a 1969 loved it
