That‘s very well-worded. I‘m also a caregiver and it’s rough. One of my outlets is playing CoD MWII, it sounds crazy, but it lets me get out of my head. I can’t recommend selfcare enough. I‘ve taken up journaling and started drawing (online class). Both help me clear my head and bring a calmness with them. You‘re a true superhero @Kyle!

An hour. A week. A month. A year. I thought about that as my wife and I watched this video. We've watched most of the videos, but this one in particular, for some reason: an hour, a month, a week... I don't remember what I was doing this time last week, or last month. A year? Please. I know for certain that I took that time for granted. I'm crying right now. I'm trying to make a point. Watching Kyle take care of Jenny, and especially those times he can't hold back the tears, but just for a second! And then he's strong again for Jenny and the kids. It all humbles me, and makes me look at my wife, and think about time and how it passes unnoticed. Last year became this year, and last month became this month so quietly that I barely remember the transitions. But what really gets me is that I have to remind myself how wonderful my wife is, and how much I love her. This isn't about me. It's about my wife. It's about how watching these videos from Jenny Apple and Kyle reminds me to look at her, and realize how much I love her. And also to remember how precious time is. Every hour, every week, every month, every year. Every second. For Jenny and Kyle, and the kids: my wife and I wish you time.

I would appreciate if anyone who is a nurse or doctor or had experience like hers could give us their opinion about this or any ideas even that would be great. Would it hurt to wait at least 1-2 months for her to get better stronger ? Just trying to learn that’s all. At the end it’s her decision and I do hope I am wrong. ❤❤ praying for her and the family. ❤

As a cancer survivor it is so overwhelming at times,if I had a dollar for every time I cried I’d be rich! It’s everything you mentioned plus more! There is hope in the trails! One day at a time! You are in my thoughts and prayers as someone who had that journey! Rest!

I cried one full day and took my health care into my own hands. Research, research, research and my doctor's HATED me for the decisions I made. Lost PC doctor, oncologist walked out because I declined treatment; what they thought was best for me. That was almost five years ago (and still cancer free). I choose the alternative route BEFORE surgery even happened. It saved me from having a breast removed. Alternative treatment killed the mass; gone! They still have nothing good to say about it! All negative! 😢

Jenny and Kyle you are amazing. Thank you for documenting your journey. I’ve been a nurse for 41 years. Definitely look into the portable oxygen concentrator. It will help tremendously. Be frank with the doctors about your pain. Don’t be afraid to ask for better pain management. Praying this new clinical trial is the answer to all of our prayers! You look so much better since being discharged from the hospital. Never apologize for forgetting to film!!! Stay strong. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. 💜✨🙏🏼✨💜

My dad had lung cancer & his biggest gripe was his oxygen tanks. It's definitely a battle & make you feel like a prisoner as he said. Just always have extra tanks available & they do have wheels carriers & bags. You will shortly become a pro at how much oxygen you use in your tank & for your machine at home they also have long tubing to allow to get around the house. My dad also would have his tank on his foot or lap while being pushed around. All my prayers being sent your way. ❤❤

Hi Jenny , I just a wanted to let you know to be aware of types of chap sticks and nose moisturizers . Oxygen can react with products that have paraffin, petroleum jelly or any oil-based products in them. Also if you ever feel you cannot breath even with O2 , get a fan and let it blow on your face . Even though you think it won’t help you it’s a mind set thing and helps give comfort. A hospice nurse told me this trick . . Sounds crazy but it works . Also with hot summer coming up it’s a good idea to get a hand held fan on Amazon that you can keep in car and charge it with a UBS phone cord . Make sure you keep a good amount of gallons distilled water . The O2 will use a lot of ,distilled water . Praying for comfort and peace for you and family 🙏🏼🌸

Hello Jenny and Kyle, I’m so sorry for you both going through this. I’m from California but live in England (26) years! I wanted to let you know if you EVER need bone marrow or blood, anything, I can fly to California asap and donate. I will be there anyway the first two weeks of September. But my husband is an airline training captain and I can use staff travel to be there in a moments notice. I wanted to also write to you regarding a private message, but I haven’t been able to receive an email for you. My only son, Adam (20), was killed on my birthday by a train while at university on November 2, 2021. The traumatic grief has been soul destroying and I’m still living day by day just to survive. At one point, I really wanted to die. Then I found your channel and indirectly, you made me realise just how precious life is. Your daily videos have helped me to survive and day by day, I’m learning to live with this grief and fight through, just like you. I wanted to thank you. By the both of you sharing, I’ve been able to keep going. Thank you and God bless.

Sending you my prayers . My dad has a lung disorder (COPD). He is on a home oxygen program. His doctor sends the oxygen company a prescription and we call and refill before we run out. He gets 3 C size bottles for home use and 3 M size(M size is smaller and good for outings). They provide a carry bag. Oh and they deliver too. We are here in Vancouver,BC, CANADA.Ask your doctor if they have a similar program. You are so lucky to have great support from your husband, brother, sister, kids and parents. I respect your integrity, your determination and courage. Good luck with the draining. I hope the pain is more tolerable. Prayers. Sending love to you.

Praying for you Jenny and for Kyle and your two sweet little ones. As a side note, I'm not sure if you two follow Sarah from POG Family on You Tube, but I know she follows you all because last week, I believed, she mentioned that she was praying for you because she had seen you were in the hospital, Jenny. Sarah got the worst news on Wednesday from the oncologist - he gave her one month to live without treatment and if she tried yet another treatment, he said she "might" make it until Christmas, but, of course, that's all dependent upon her response to any new treatment. If you do know Sarah and her family, I just thought I'd let you know that she needs a LOT of extra prayers right now, as does her husband and family. If not, then could you all please pray for Sarah and her sweet family? I know they would be grateful to receive prayers right now. Thanks to you both and I'm, of course, continuing to pray for y'all too.

Sometimes the caregivers got very involved and put 100% of their efforts into the care they would not allow themselves to take breaks. In the end they get burn out and depression. It is OK to take a break, have time for yourselves with your friends for a night out. If you breakdown everyone fails.

Actually, belief in God is all about faith. Believing in Someone we cannot see. There's a saying: "For those with faith, no explanation is necessary. For those without it, no explanation is ever enough." I never, ever waste any time trying to prove God is real. That is absolutely the responsibility of each and every individual, to search for and discover for themselves. Anyone who SINCERELY seeks God will be rewarded by the Holy Spirit. He will lead and guide them into a relationship with Jesus and God. Those who aren't sincere? That's 100 percent on them.
