Smoking cannabis is now legal for over 18s in Germany, after new laws for personal possession came into effect on Monday.
Adults can now collect 25 grams for recreational purposes, and the new law allows people to grow up to three plants on their own premises.
It follows a heated debate about the pros and cons of easier access to the drug.
