Worked on a house last year where the builder did NOT do a termite pretreatment on the soil. It was an absolute nightmare. Drywall, studs, flooring...termites chomped on everything. The house was built on a lake with a high water table and high sand content so according to the bug guys, the termites were already dominate and didn't have far to go for the buffet. How this slips by is crazy. Glad you guys did it right.

Maybe I'm missing something here. The dirt was treated and now you're going to disturb it and knock off high spots. It seems to me you'll be removing the termite protection from that area. I would think it would be better for the termite treatment to be applied after all soil work is done.
@stephensaines7100

It would be in theory. In practice, very little of the treated area is lost.

Just a shout out when you get your framing done and before you cover the framing with your finishes, spray the framing wood with a product called "Timbor" Mix in a pump sprayer and spray away.
