Glad to have you back Doc. Any idea when you may get back to your Daily Bugle/apartment project?

Thank you. It's good to be back. I have decided that, due to me needing a lot of gray bricks for my upcoming Medieval builds, that I'm going to put the roof on the Bugle and cap it at 4 stories. (for now! lol).

Love all your new plans ! You have a cool space to fill with great sets and I have to admit being a bit jealous, cause I love to build landscapes & terrains in Lego 😊. Enjoy the shrubberies 😂

I agree on the pricing, I use to buy so much Lego but anymore I just kinda feel like I'm being ripped off and it sucked all the fun out of it

Completely agree...the fun has been sucked right out...completely! Instead of waiting for new sets to come out, I now cringe and think about other ways to spend that kind of money on things that will provide REAL value in my life - like a vacation with the kids, a car payment, or even video games that I can play with others over and over rather than a piano or a n ocean liner, etc... that I have fun for 9 hrs building then look at it everyday knowing I could have made a car payment instead of getting that dust collector. I think Lego has a real problem moving forward...unless they are playing a short game and want $$ fast, they are draining people and even folks like me who have disposable income will only go so far - we aren't dumb. Definitely not the way to last another 90 years though and engender brand loyalty in my opinion.

Cool update Doc. Debating whether or not to slowly start to build a replica of Mantua in 1796-1797.

Thanks! That would be a cool build for sure! Sounds like it might take some time but would be worth it.
