The only time I ever went on a Pirate Ship ride I regretted it. Horrible things. But I still need one for the Fairground in Brick Nottingham to maximise ride diversity. I don't want to use a huge galleon so I'm using the SpongeBob Squarepants Flying Dutchman ship from set 3817 as inspiration as it's really good fun and is much better sized. I also add some deck space for seating, a second mast, a ship's wheel and, of course, motorisation. The resulting ride looks great and works really well. Good good!
