Nice job, Robin! I've been a fan of 7898, and have one of the Cargo Train Deluxe sets squirreled away in storage. Since you've replaced the RC train base with a conventional PF setup, perhaps you could use the area in the center, beneath the train base, as a cable storage area? That would allow you to get the cables out of the main cabin to a certain extent.
@RobinHoodBricks
4 жыл бұрын
To a degree but it is the "block" of PF connectors that is worst and it won't reach. To be honest it's fine now, it just required an organised structure. The back cab is full of the IR receiver and that's also unavoidable!

Excellent video! I think "The Hulk" is a nice addition. It has the looks of a older style train. Prehaps, "in story" it was an original locomotive circa like 1949 or so. As for your design ethic....as the proprietor, the "Earl of Ethics" if you will indulge my signature puns, that is your choice and we love you for it...even if we might fancy to take umbrage. As I have seen it, there are several ways to look at this sort of effort. For me, mine is a Lego Train Set with City elements. I strive for balance but, above all, the railroad takes the center. Others are Lego Cities with a train function. I am ever so glad you state your design ethic regularly. It is always nice to see artist's intent in application.

If I remember right it looks something like the beast but in yellow. I also think the new light for your camera works great! I just love how close it comes to hitting everything, you probably held your breath when it went around the first couple of times. I agree I probably would move the helicopter that superman is saving, it does look like you could bump into it easily and blocks the view of the awesome train station. Maybe place it on the empty corner before the train bridge for now? It would be like superman helping it land in an open field. Excellent video Robin. Keep up the great work!

I think the best choice for a yellow train is to customize the set 3677 Red Cargo Train into a yellow train because I’ve seen older Lego trains it looks similar enough to it so it’s from what I’ve seen the parts to convert the red diesel engine to a yellow Diesel engine. Well some of the parts and yellow may be rare where I feel maybe you can use black part instead and You can look like some kind of bee colored train.

Oh geez I'm late, well happy New Year and Happy Birthday Robin, another idea for this train, what if you reversed the blue locomotive so it's running backwards? A lot of the time when a train has multiple engines they all aren't facing the same direction, then maybe having the Hulk at the very back with a yellow locomotive maybe at the front or behind the Beast. Maybe call it the Yellow Jacket, my idea is to have a fully MOC locomotive maybe based off of the GE ES44AC locomotive? The Hammer Head is based off an EMD GP40 or such so it won't look too out of place but again maybe have it either at the very front or behind the Beast looking forward, how's that sound?

Also as a suggestion benny should be riding either the space ship with the coffee,or he should be riding that gray moon buggy,I had this set,and also made a space tower,and i had benny riding the buggy

Im building my first train once my brickowl order arrives. It's gonna be a black and pink locomotive with a rust brown graffitied boxcar and a tanker car. The graffiti might be brick built, but I'm also considering using paint markers

Paint markers? Nooooo. Other than that they sound interesting. You might have to send pics of the builds when they're done either by email or to a Brick Haul!

Maybe you should try put a LEGO train line on the wall using 2x4 planks and L brackets so the freight train isn’t chasing its own tail
@RobinHoodBricks

I kinda want it to reach it's own tail, haha!

Another excellent addition to your cargo train. I'm a fan of the Hulk, it could be the She Hulk, that works too. I like the green contrasting with the red. It looks great going through the city. Looking forward to the Yellow engine. Superman catching the smoking helicopter is great! Is Lois in the helicopter? Its in the movie.

No, just some random pilot. Lois would be in America presumably!
