@@BevinsBricksWorld Darryl, listen to Christina. When I got my bifocals I thought the same as you, but I found that after only a few days I was reflexively adjusting my eyes to look through the correct part of the lens - now I do it without even realizing I'm doing it.

Harbor Freight is the bomb!! During my career, I spent as much on tools from there as I spent on LEGO from BL!! (lol) I have that exact pic set! I used to use it to repair valve packing … now it’s for fine LEGO work! 🤗

@@BevinsBricksWorld … yeah, you’re right about the “simple home use” designation. Truth is, most of my tools are from higher quality sources like Rigid, Klein, Estwing, Craftsman, S&K, Greenlee, and DeWalt. Some of my Stanley drivers I still have, I bought as an apprentice in Canada over 40 years ago (Robertson #1, #2 and #3)!

Same here, other than estwing, Ive never heared of them to add to your list above I also have snap on and matco. Craftsman is the bulk of my tools though. Sadly they are not what they use to be.

@@BevinsBricksWorld … Snap On was always a bit pricy for me (I only have a snap on flex-head wratchet by default … a mechanic left it in the motor cavity of my ‘70 Mustang when I needed an emergency repair while on the road during a vacation … was a hundred miles away from the repair shop when I discovered it during a pit stop on the way back home! lol). I have two or three Estwing hammers. Used them a ton when framing my two out buildings in the back yard. btw, I have used a number of your tutorials to brick-build a number of chairs for my MOC’s. I’m gonna build that incredible Singer sewing machine too!! That is a thing of beauty!! 🤗

Yeah snap on was very pricy. I just have a metric and american socket sets of snap on and torque wrench all 3/4 drive as they had a little better bite on them. Glad you like some of the chairs and such. The sewing machine is a nice little build but also a bit fidgety lol.

3:46 great vid! One thing, I understand that the 'male' end you refer to feels like a male connection as it is inserted into the female connector, I would actually suggest it is the other eay around. Male connections usually refer to the side containing the metal pins. As you can see the connection you refer to as female has the pins, so it is actually the side that is inserted, making it male. Random but this is exactly what KZitem comments are all about! Have a good one

Just a heads up- you got the male and female backwards. The gender is determined by the conductors, not the housing.

I was noticing that while I was making the video. As I was going off the plug itself and when I popped them out I'm like wait a minute lol. I never really paid attention to the designation of the metal Parts I only paid attention to the plastic portion.
