@@M1NDxBEND3R I think that was a compliment, but can't be too sure. Anyways, love the bulds as always, common Mindbender W. I wonder if the lore of this universe will have any star warsy mystical elements, or supernatural. If not, that's cool. It can lean into some deep philosophy or sci Fi stuff, or whatever story. Kinda makes me wanna make a salvaged/scavenged, rebuilt, and changed old star wars walker, that's been used for some purpose. Someone who's out on a mission but for whatever reason is now left with little resources and a different motive, one out of survival and maybe even curiosity and exploration, like a nomad. They could be any allegiance or alignment. I might do something with it, either in writing or making it out of Legos. Love the builds.

I like to imagine in the wasteyard someone finds the ruins of an old warzone like old Guardian mechs or Olympus dropships I ruin. And some wanderer finds this stuff and is like "oh hey! What's this junk?" And someone conveniently awakens the final mystery box left on earth that gives chase for a little bit.

The use of the word electromagnet there has a really interesting implication! Given that he’s a peaceful guy only looking to keep things peaceful, it would make sense that he’d try non-violent methods first. And I’m sure that since he’s good with tech, he could have rigged his electromagnet to also be able to put out an EMP, disabling any attacking mech with ease. Now, I’d assume this would be like a first warning kind of thing, and if that mech starts making trouble again… well, he’s got methods to deal with that too Edit: oh, and you don’t have to use this idea at all but I don’t have any legos or the money to buy them so I thought I’d put it out into the world instead of dwelling on it for eternity: a mech suit designed to live in! Or really any vehicle designed to live in, but mechs are just cooler. I’ve always been fascinated with the idea of a post-apocalyptic future RV of sorts, though I’m sure it would be difficult to pull off. Then again, you did make King Zeus, so if you did attempt to build it I’m confident in your abilities. I love coming up with ideas for mechs and other vehicles, but I’m dreadful at drawing anything in perspective, and I don’t have any legos to put my creativity into. Edit 2: clearly I should’ve watched a few seconds more because now this comment just looks downright silly! Obviously scrap metal is important in the wasteland, and I’m sure many mechs, if not most, would use projectile weapons as energy seems to be a resource that could be very limited in the post-apocalypse. I’d say the apron is there to catch bullets! If a bullet flew right through his legs, it would be effectively lost forever, but if he had something there to catch it (say a big piece of metal hanging down to cover the gap) he could harvest those bullets after the fight. It’s not much, but it’s a very simple and cheap part and could see at least a little bit of profit, probably builds up over time. Or he could smelt them down and use them to make things like replacement parts! By the way, and this seems like something I don’t really need to mention but I’m going to since I’m here, I love the canopies! Especially the unique ways they open. I don’t know why, but there’s just something so satisfying about them to me. Looking forward to more mechs! Edit 3: okay, last edit probably (not). I can’t be bothered to go back and fix all those pronouns so now I’m just headcannoning him as a trans guy and nobody can stop me!

I watched your videos a little while back and was fascinated by the mystery boxes, eventually ordering some in both colors. I started watching your channel again and its getting me properly back into legos! I want to build my own mech designs, and your videos are great resources for figuring out how smaller models can have knees, elbows, and ankles! You've also inspired me to continue the lego storyline that I had throughout my childhood until I moved and my sets got broken. I plan to do a "soft reboot" of sorts with a wasteland theme, so this video is perfect inspiration!

you know, if you did want to watch the city's robots punch the crap out of each other while remaining in the peaceful wasteland life, you could make a mech with a giant telescope mounted over the shoulder looking like a large artillery cannon, but the guy just uses it and the fold out tv and armchair on the back to find a good vantage point and watch the action from a safe distance. bonus points if theres a built in popcorn machine on the other shoulder.

Your building style is so unique. Making such miniature builds with so much detail, movement and even a cockpit for a Lego minifig is no easy task. And yet u have made almost a thousands of these and every new build looks even cooler than the previous ones. The wasteland story line is also very well thought, really fits the aesthetic of ur mechs. Great job with ur creations man. I do have a suggestion for the Wanderer if u are aiming for realism. Why not give the pilot some type of control stick or some screen close to his hands so it seems like he is also controlling the mech instead of just sitting there. Just a suggestion, but still really satisfied with ur build

At first i tjoight the wanderer had a bierd but a mask makes more sense. I imagine him being very respurceful and light on his feet only carrying the essesnials and relying on mulitools that take litttle space or weight but give a lot of functionality. I would like the mech more if it had a ribcage to ensure he can do things like sleep on the movedo a lot of wirrd climbing and jumping when scavenging (think rey from the force awakens running around in the star destroyer) and maybe a small screen on the side displaying bot vitals. Or maybe a design with more ephasis on protecting from the scorching sun? As for henry, the design is too clean for the wasteland. It could just be built by a perfectionist or someone who might be split between the wasteland and cities. I imagine someone who is trying to immitate city culture or maybe even someone who moved from the city. One theory is that a family from the wasteland lost a girl once and years later this mysterius henry appeared. Maybe they use a voice changer or dont speak at all to avoid being found out. They could even be a trans man who likes being percieved as a man but does not know why.
