LEGO Team Model Blue Fury Hot Rod 5541 Stop motion Speed Build (review and build)
This set was released in 1995 under the “TEAM Model” series and was known as Blue Fury, set no 5541. It was released again as a Legends set in 2004, no. 10151 and called the Hot rod. It has 421 pieces and was for LEGO builders 9-16 yrs. It is a straight forward challenge for a moderately experienced builder to undertake, taking around 90 minutes to complete. It is a classic brick construction with minimum Technic pieces that allow front wheel steering. A great looking model with good proportions - I especially like the engine and exhaust manifold construction.
If you like this video, please check out my other LEGO videos (Model Set Reviews, Speed Builds, and Restoring LEGO Sets). My aim is to show how these sets work, from the basics through to complex multi-shift gearboxes found on the latest car models. I will be focusing on the LEGO vintage sets first and then working my way up to the latest Porsche and Bugatti models; charting how these sets have evolved and continue to capture our imagination.

*QB Models stands for Quintessential Brick Models. According to the Oxford English dictionary, “Quintessential” is an adjective and means: being the best representation of something or having the pure essence of something. I've used it to describe the perfect embodiment of BRICK [LEGO] models.
