Hooray you’re back. How did you get that lorry to move across the level crossing?

It actually just fits, the bottom scrapes on the surface of the crossing though :D

Nice work Arjen! I wish I could get night shots like yours, they look great! The MOCs / mods throughout the layout are awesome!

Thanks. The night shots are a combination of a very good camera and a very good noice reduction filter!

What a great video! May I ask about the energy source for the Crocodille Locomotive? I do not see any metal wheels there to collect current from the track.

Thanks! The crocodile is powered by a PoweredUp battery box and a PoweredUp motor. It's designed to make it remote controlled like this.

Wow this layout is awasome. I love the custom lighting. I can't imagine how much work you put into your videos. I hope one day your vides will have as many views as they used to back in 2014 when I started watching you. I also counted 17 criminals and found 2 raptors behind the train station.

Thank you. I'm afraid that "the old days" won't return: the audience is different and the algorithm of KZitem is also different, focusing more on frequent uploads which is not possible with my kind of projects. And I have less time available as I have two kids now :)

How did you get the trains automated on the 9v system? Did you break up the track into segments? Should I look at your WIP channel?
@almightyarjen
Жыл бұрын
Yes, I use isolated track segment which are controlled by the controller. Have a look at the channel "Arduino Lego trains": he has copied what I'm doing and has made tutorials for it. If you have any questions feel free to ask!

Thanks, the crocodile will never be my favourite: it derails too easily, especially on sidetracks of switches (like 99% of the time).

Yes it is worth buying! It's a nice and detailed locomotive and it runs without any issues. It only has issues going onto a side track of a switch.
