In this video you will learn how to build the #Lego #Train based on the GO Transit and which parts are needed. This MOC is based on the GO Transit commuter rail service in the Greater Toronto Area. Commonly called "The GO Train", the rail service consists of a fleet of Bombardier BiLevel coaches and a mix of locomotives in the iconic green and white livery. The locomotive in this MOC is heavily inspired by the historical F40PH and F59PH models. My goal with this project was to capture the essence of the GO Train in a LEGO City-style playset. The MOC comes with a locomotive, two coaches, and a cab car.
MOC Details:
2062 pieces
6-wide scale
1x Locomotive
2x BiLevel Coaches
1x Cab Car
The #locomotive can be easily converted to use the Powered Up system by installing a hub unit in the engine bay. The bogies are the same size as a motorized wheel base and can be easily swapped out. The roof is easily removed to access the cab or turn on the Powered Up hub.
The BiLevel coaches feature a detailed interior with seating for 9 across two levels. The roof and wall panels are designed to allow easy access to the interior to setup and play with minifigures.
The cab car is largely the same as the coach car, but has the addition of a cab unit on the rear of the train. The cab car features a detailed interior with seating for 9 passengers and 1 engineer.
