are these trails mostly ridden with Enduro bikes? It's great to see so many trials bikes out there in the woods.

Vast majority are enduro bikes.

This trail was made by my co-worker Rick Lago. Somehow the spelling changed from Lago to Lego over the years.

Very cool, thanks for the knowledge! He built an awesome trail! Any idea about the cabin? Can't find any info about it.

The cabin was an old hunting cabin from back when they rode in on horseback. It was re-discovered when he was making the trail. The forest service had considered restoring it but never did. I think he said there were some tree stumps around the cabin that were there when he got there. He started the trail around 98-2000 and had it all roughed out in 8 summers. Had some help from some friends that got burned out during the process. They had a deadline to finish it before govt revs changed. He mentioned the section coming down the hill with 7-8 switchbacks “that everyone hates” was all done in 1 summer.

Hardest part to me was the right turn up between those rocks to the road half through. It's funny you mentioned the trail of to the right to drop in, I thought that would have been an easier way going up but I made the right instead. The guy following me went up it. Think that was in 2000. Seems several more people are using that now.

Of everything we rode in the OWNF on this trip, I think it was my favorite. I wanna do it the other way next time.

I'm not from the Seattle area so I'm not very familiar with the riding up there, but I hear about Walker Valley a lot. Lots of stuff in the Little Naches/Taneum area as seen here, but be aware that there's a major fire on highway 12 south of there and it could be smokey depending on the wind. You'll probably wanna take I-90 and ride from the Cle Elum side, which I'm also not familiar with, probably start with Cle Elum Ridge trail, not Goat Peak.
