Tolouse DOMINATED the breakdown which was the difference in my opinion

As a Bok supporter in Aus watching, the first ‘Follow the Sun’ series recently makes it clear what an incredible, tight, trusting relationship there was between JN & Rassie & the other coaching guys & gals - Felix, Proudfoot, Human etc; that takes time to build & that’ll be the same at Leinster.

He didn’t even have a preseason. As I keep saying to other Leinster supporters, let’s judge on next season - and we’ve overachieved if anything this season.

Jacques made a key point here. Drop the emotions even though they are painful. No matter how many times you get knocked of the horse you got to jump back on and go again. No point in crying over split milk. The URC is there to be won now. They are more than capable of doing it as long as they don't let emotion of past losses get in the way. No better man than Nienaber to help get them over that hurdle.

Pretty class. I wonder how much power he will be given next year in terms of training schedule, selection etc

I love the comments below - nice rivalry developing between SA and Ireland at all levels. Keep the slagging coming boets - with the continuing emergence of the Italians it beats the falling apart Welsh or the disinterested Scot’s.

More diplomatic than one of his Springbok RWC interviews, “as ons nie die wêreldbeker wen nie was dit ‘n kak besluit gewees.”! 😁

All stats were 50/50 apart from Turnovers won: Leinster-7 Toulouse-13. Match could have gone either way. No Shame loosing to a Dupont Masterclass.

Not really, Leinster dominated all the stats aside from turnovers at the breakdown.

get a life. Typical loser and bad sport. You lost the previous 2 finals and he wasn't there. You were smashed at the breakdowns by the French that's why you lost

Yeah you can say the attack was limited and weak compared to previous years but how many line breaks were made? How many chances did Leinster have in Toulouses corner? It was Toulouse scramble D and breakdown efforts that was the difference. And Toulouse’s kicking.
