Lemon Pie Recipe
Ingredients (20 cm cake pan)
For the filling:
• 790 g Condensed milk (2 cans)
• 240 ml Lemon Juice (1 cup)
• 8 yolks
For the base:
• 250 g Maria Cookies, digestive (2 cups)
• 110 g Melted butter (1/2 cup)
To decorate:
• Chantilly cream
• Italian Meringue: • Merengue Italiano | Pa...
Instructions
1. Place cookies in a processor until ground.
2. Add the melted butter, and mix until all the cookies have butter.
3. Place cookies in the mold, spread and with a glass or cup, crush the cookies so that they are compact.
4. Bake for 10 minutes at 180°C.
5. In a bowl, add the condensed milk and then the yolks and mix.
6. Then add the lemon juice and mix.
7. Pour the mixture into the mold and bake at 180°C for 20 minutes or until the mixture sets.
8. Let cool and refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight.
9. Decorate with Chantilly or Italian meringue.
10. Serve and enjoy.
