Can’t wait for this. It looks good even before knowing what’s in it.

Right i'm a little confused, so the chicken goes in for 30 mins @ 210 c, but was it actually in for 45 minutes & then another 5 minutes under the grill @ 250c?
@SchoolofWok
3 жыл бұрын
It goes into the oven at 210 c for 30-45 mins depending on how big your pieces of chicken are. Then the last 5 mins under the grill are to get that nice char on the outside - Lee

'Grill' is what they call a broiler in the UK. He grilled/broiled the chicken at the end of the cooking to get the char.

I'm a lazy ass so I'll do this with deboned thighs... Thanks Jeremy! I'll use brown sugar instead of palm sugar... I'm sa lazy ass and I don't want to go to Chinatown to get palm sugar. See the theme developing here? Now who's nicer, Emma or Ruby? LOL

@@stanwilson83 I'm sure you like it, and of course it has its place. The problem is that 20% of the population is genetically disgusted by it, and now it's thrown into absolutely everything. 20 years ago it was not super common, now it's everywhere.

I was the same way too but eventually cant stop eating it. I recall it being overly powerful until I ate Vietnamese food which introduced me into fresh herbs which turned me to the dark side. I started with tiny amounts and worked my way up.

@@MichaelJin74 no, I think you misunderstand. There was a study that proved that 10% of the population has a gene that literally makes them disgusted by the herb because they can detect the aldehyde chemicals, which are present in cilantro, and soap. The rest of the population does not have that gene, called orgA2.
