To this day, this is my battle cry! Never in human history has our Lord, being needed to stand by us. So desperately. We truly need strength. The time of reckoning is truly here. God bless.

Lena has a great voice. We were friends way back in 1959 when we performed in the same big band in Scotland (I was the drummer). She got engaged to my pal Gordon Cameron who played saxophone in the band. They used to babysit my first child Gina but unfortunately Gordon passed away suddenly in his sleep while still in his early twenties and I believe she never got married. She went to the USA and appeared with many top stars but she had a hard life and suffered from ill health. I love her music.

Wonderful song. I was 13 when this song came out, and I remember saying to my Mum," What a boring song." Listening to it now, the lyrics are very timely, especially as a Christian on my walk with Jesus in these last days of earth's history.

My grandparents were on their deathbed together when this song was number one in the charts. They sang it to each other as they faded into unconsciousness and died at exactly the same time, the next day the song fell from it's number one spot and started its descent down the charts. I feel like my grandparents caused this song to stop being number one.

What do you expect ... Anti-Christians who are PRETENDING to be Christian have been misgoverning the UK since the Founders of the Church of England were murdered in their beds on behalf of the House of Mountbatten's family ancestors, and their minions shit on anything / everything relating to Christ ! Its not popular to truly follow the enemy of SATAN on an island that is INFESTED by the followers of SATAN [and their followers].
