I enjoyed your clip. You have a really nice Fusil de chasse musket. I myself have a N.W. trade musket and the 1728 French Musket ( reproduction) that took much of it's stock design from the Fusil de chasse.

Happy independence day, interesting topic. Where did you acquire your fusil? Was it a kit, custom build? TOW kit or?? I just noticed it in this video, I'm looking to purchase a kit or assembled fusil de chasse, really like the lines ,shape of the stock on yours

Very cool commentary my folks all came from Tennessee how old my family is from Doctor my grandfather was born 1872 he died 1970 it was born in cocke county Tennessee is Mama was born 1830 in North Carolina and she was a part of the five civilized tribes...
