Don't use Lennox. The thermostat itself will cost you $500 every 2 or 3 years.

Mine connected to the internet, just unable to connect to the server. It says temporarily unavailable. We are working to correct this issue as soon as possible. That's been for months!!!

After talking with customer service, issue was resolved by setting the date and clock. Hope this helps

@@samburkeg Brilliant! Calling Lennox was on my “to do” list this morning. Followed your advice. As soon as the date & time were set BOOM! The wifi was connected. Thank you for your comment & saving me the phone call.

Please don't buy the Lennox product until they finally fix this issue. I totally agree with Jun McGee...I have the Lennox AC/ heat pump with this thermastate and it has lost the WIFI connections more than 15 times in less than 24 hours. this weekend alone...This is a long term issue with Lennox and has not gone away. I have contacted their tech support soooo many times. I even thought about buying the newer thermostat but alas it too has a problem losing WIFI connection. I have paid so much for a system that has had a long standing issue. I would buy any tech a steak and lobster dinner for two at Anthonys on the waterfront. that can solve this issue. Permanently. but no one can solve.

Great concept but product is big BS. We just bought a house with this brand. I was so excited that I didnt have to buy a 200 google nest. It was supposed to be a smart thermostat. Guess what they don't offer this one to be connected to your google or alexa. Only your phone. My poor senior mom now has to go downstairs to turn it up or down. She prefers verbal (telling google to turn it up and down) or on the actually keypad. She doesn't do anything on her phone that is smart. And the problem with this company is that if you use any other brand you loose the ability of knowing if your furnace needs service and other notifications. Im glad we did didn't pay for this crappy upgrade but when this goes out we are not getting them for sure. since to even upgrade to a google using thermostat they want to sell you a 500-900 thermostat. You guys are nuts. No smart home electronic is worth that amount. Lennox if it can be connected on the internet from anywhere it can be also connected to google also. Get your lazy engineers to add the app to this.

The Wi-Fi connection is so bad. It keeps losing the connection. Also, it’s very hard to press the buttons on the screen unless you move your fingers like a person in this video. That made me think it was made in early 2000s but it looks like it was released in 2013???!!!

@@benchamberlain5985 in the end it seems to have been a wireless gateway that didn't have enough signal. As we upgraded to Comcast's latest model we could establish the connection. I won't swear to you that's all it was, but it was definitely part of it
