I have no idea why Mr. David doesn't share more information on his battery test. Is battery saver on/off / Is bluetooth on/off Is wifi on/off / Background apps on/off I have tried several of these Yoga 2-in-1 laptops (14 and 16 inch) and every single one has great battery life. I have consistently gotten over 14-15 hours of battery life watching KZitem continually. Settings: 50% brightness, battery savery and wifi on, all background apps closed. In 2022 no non-gaming Windows laptop lasts 5-6 hours with battery saver on and 150 nites brightness. You will get at least 8-10 hours on an OLED screen and 12-16 hours on a non-OLED screen. Also, 95% of users only do office work on their laptops, so is that what you mean by "real-world use"?

Everyone should learn from Lenovo how to add all the ports in a 16 inches laptop. The only thing I did not enjoy is constantly hitting the numlock key while typing. I wish they had a 16 inch version without the numpad. Shifted touchpad is a big issue for me. I like it in the middle. But again that's personal choice. This laptop does tick most boxes. 😌

@@POWERTOKNOW Hi, I have this version with Arc 370M and have problems with drivers, very often Adobe Photoshop shows me a screen with incompatibility. After restart it's ok but if it goes to sleep mode or after some time of working it does not take the grapics card in Photoshop. I install the newest driver from the intel website but windows update reinstall it with older version everytime it finds it in the updates. Real bullshit. 🙂 Overal the computer is superb, the screen, build, feeling but I have to go for some 32 GB RAM version. I work with high resolution photos and Lightroom can take all the memory and slow down the whole computer. Windows 11 probably works with memory differently than Windows 10. Жыл бұрын
I've been searching for the answer for the past 3 hours, so far still no luck. Seems like most 2 in 1's don't have the supported quad core GPU that solidworks lists on their website. Even if you get a gaming laptop geforce graphics cards aren't supported either BUT they can still run solidworks it just will be a little finicky unless you aren't doing anything too intensive with a lot of parts or rendering, modeling should definitely be fine. Im assuming that if you get an up to date recent processor like an i7 or i9 and 16 gb of ram that should help when under more stress with some slight tweaking in the settings. Overall i'm a little confused because I also want this laptop for note taking, doing school work, but with some simple cad work on the side. So if you find a better answer lmk please hahaha

@@eddiesmaize3814 Exactly, I just want a nice 2in1 laptop to take notes on and do cad work. I don't need all of the fancy gamer aesthetic. I only ever game when I am at home. It was able to do CAD and simulations, but it was always a struggle. It has an amd cpu and 3060 and the drivers we not certified like the workstation laptops you find. I really don't want to buy an IPad for notes and a laptop for anything else. I wish some of these reviews would go over how well the hardware performs on non-gaming applications. Gaming laptops have a huge market of students and professionals that use the laptops as workstations and not for gaming. I really don't know, maybe we want too much.....

@@andrewmarcdavid Hello David Sir, I wish I could get a reply I'm using the same machine with 1335U processor and it doesn't have EVO Certification badge as well. But it works nice. I was near to ask that can my Laptop handle GTA V? Please note that I've 1335U not a P processor. I think it changed according to the country because I'm from the worst country on the earth now, the fu**ing "Pakistan". Trust me I hate my poor country

I've had mine for three weeks. Awesome build with the i7 1260p and 16gb of ram, but holy cow the boot into Windows 11 is over 2 minutes long from cold boot. Even with all quick boot options enabled it takes this long. I really don't get it

All around a decent laptop, but with some serious design flaws. It took me about 6 months of gentle steady use of this laptop before it failed. But it failed in the mechanical design. I carefully open my laptop every time because I am a normal person and one day the right hinge broke away from the top cover. Upon closer inspection this is a plastic piece that was design rather poorly, and from the looks can break pretty easily from the stress of daily use. This is a horrible design, but to make things more fun, they used far more glue than humanly necessary to hold the screen onto the back plate! Good luck getting it out without cracking it or damaging it from the heat required to separate it, if you are brave enough to try this repair on your own. The designers of this computer put in these flaws for the purpose of requiring replacement halfway through this devices shelf life. Personally, I would avoid this laptop, as it is deigned to fail.

In my Laptop it seems a bit nice but when I look closely in it. It seems that it's not strong but surely it is strong while it costs around $500 and 1 Year warranty as well. So I think it's good to have nah?
@tobybigham4196

@@peoples.say.masoom To see what I saw you have to separate the screen from the top plate which has a severe high risk of cracking the screen. It is a very nice little computer. After I repaired mine it has gone on to do nothing but amaze me for how much I spent. But I have repaired at least 3 of these so far all with the same failure. Opening and closing the laptop, the hinge breaks away because the plastic eventually fails. I hope you have beater luck my friend. The replacement top cover is $56, and if you accidentally crack the screen, $115 roughly. Oddly enough I have a spare top cover now.

Hello, i am trying to figure out on the net but haven't found a clear answer. I understand thi would be appropriate for Adobe Creative Cloud suite, but would this laptop would work well for cad work (2D / 3D like Autocad and SketcUp). I intend to buy the configuration with Arc Graphic Card and 32 gb of ram. Thanks.

scroll until you see all the comments of this video on one page and do ctrl + F or command + F and search, "Any idea how these would perform using CAD applications like ansys and solidworks or while running something like MATLAB". There is a comment thread and one person bought the laptop and said how he feels about it running CAD. I haven't bought it myself and I'm still looking for answers.

Hi David. I really don’t understand how you can call the audio performance if this laptop to be a decent? It has a very bad audio quality like many reviewers pointed out. It’s bad when using external audio and when using headphones. It’s loud but very unclean sound that’s coming out from this laptop no matter which headphones you use or it’s own speakers.
