These videos are a gift, as was Leonard, one of the truly decent men I knew.

Sure miss him, and wish I didn't forget so much of my Yiddish, as they say if you don't use it, you lose it A lot of today English words come from Yiddish, but people just don't know that

A dank, Leyb Nimoy. A fargenign tsu hern eiyer zichroynes. I've been a fan for about 47 years now... When I was 13, it gave me a thrill to find your father, Max's phone number in the Boston white pages hanging in Penn Station in NYC, back in the days of banks of phone booths. I was that kind of adolescent girl fan, one of the (better) sources of your voluminous fan mail. I learned Yiddish in college and I appreciate the support you've given so many Yiddish projects. Lang Leben and tsu dein geboirtstog! (I know it's this month... same month and year as my mom, biz hundert tsvantsig.)

As a goy myself, I find it disheartening to see Yiddish fade away. I’d even love to learn it so it can stay alive. Leonard truly blessed all of us.
