Organists have different ways of expressing the anointing within and upon them. I'd rather see Razor show off for Jesus than show out in the world. I loved what this young brother did in this video and find no fault in his method of delivery. I would love to see those with criticisms of this brother demonstrate for all of us how this should be done!! Post your "own" video and prove yourself to be full of truth!! May God continue to bless this young man's excellent work in the Lord.

There are a lot of good organists out there, but this guy is the real deal... He's really just playing around with this song, if he was serious you probably couldn't take it. I once saw him and a kid drummer do a 30 minute local television show here in Chicago and he could have been no older than about 10 years old. The host of the show said it was one of the most requested shows ever on that channel!!! I've kinda followed him since and he plays with/for the greats nationwide today!

Guitarman I totally agree with everything you said.Im so glad that I found this video on youtube.Ive been wanting to se it again and again. Its the greatest "reharmed" arrangement of the Lord's prayer that Ive ever heard.I wish that I could personally tell him that.I appreciate hearing musicians being able to use all of their musical elements at a very high level on a song (such as the one hear) and still keep the integrity of the melody and some of the original changes and still stretch out.

I totally agree with you Apostle Whitlow! I didn't feel or see Jesus in his playing..It was clear that he is gifted and touched by God on another level, however, in church if people can't follow the song...then we can only follow what we see and hear him create and not what God is trying to show or say through him. This was a performance of what he can do and not what God wanted to hear or show up in.

I totally agree. This playing is at a different level than a lot of church musicians in the black church. Unless one understands musical interpretation, creativity and have skills, they will never get it. You have to be gifted to create. This guy was just featured at a huge jazz expo in Chicago headlined by Al Jareau...Most of the negative commentors would love to have a small portion of the professional gigs this young man turns down. I've even seen him on Ophrah's Show playing for Chris Brown.

Young, gifted, and amazing! In some instances revolutionary. Youth unfortunately doesn't wait for, nor necessarily listen to old folks' dissatisfaction; yet true discipline usually comes in time. He will see at some point what it means to serve an eloquent presentation. No need to serve all the meat at one sitting, many can't handle it all at once. Just a bit of brilliance at a time. That's an OG's word! Of course rarely do OG's lead a revolution, but still can admire the true gift of youth.

I reply because it is an insult to this young man, his ministry, and his gift to say he's not anointed. I started following his music ministry years ago when I saw him play as a kid on a gospel music show in Chicago. I have attended services where he played and the spirit fell mightyly. I've seen him deliver the word under the anointing as the minister that he is. As I once said, he probably don't care what others think, but I appreciate jis gift and anointing so I respond...Need more like him.

As a teacher, I come to this site often to show it. For one to say whether something or someone is anointed based on a concert video falls into the ridiculous category. If you don't like it just say so, but don't try to put God on your side by saying it is not anointed. Sometimes Paul would say "This say I and not the Lord" (1 Cor. 7:12). So if the Lord didn't say it, was it anointed!!! Sure it was and this young man is anointed, gifted, and skilled. It's evident that his gift came from God.

You can say whatever you want bout me, but don't come against my walk with God, I been through to much and God has brought me through much for me to allow anyone to walk with Christ and my comprehension of the bible. The problem with people is that we have confused talent and anointing, the young man in this video is extremely talented no one said he wasn't. When you sit behind a musical instrument in the church you are playing every time to invite the Spirit of the Lord into the place, not so

Since then I've seen him at smany concerts and live recordings, and he always brings it. His chords when setting the foundations for vocalists are ttremendous, they make the singer sound awesome. And as you can see here, he also knows how to solo. He's one of a few organists that follow closely.

The brutha is an musical artist. My father is a retired college graphics art professor, and learning from him and his college students I understood that what an artist paints is their interpretation of whatever they see. I may draw a tree in it's true form, another person can draw an impression of what i drew, yet another may draw an abstract version, but does it make it less of a tree? This dude is a abstract and genius at his craft I can still hear the Lord's prayer his painted version of it

ant2by4, It's the Lord's prayer. It is actually a well improvised version. He has incorporated some movements from some of the great classical composers into this. It really takes a skilled and trained musician to recognize the various movements. As one that appreciates classical music, this is awesome. I only wished that more musicians in our community, especially in our churches were as qualified as the musicians in the churches of other ethnic groups. .

After listening to this several times I would like to know, why did it take him nearly six minutes to finish the song? It sounded like he was trying to play as many runs and chord progressions he could play in every bar. There is no doubt in my mind after listening to Leonard play that he has God given talent. But he will learn as all seasoned musicians learn at some point and time. Sometimes less brings out more. Meaning: We must decrease (less of us) so God can be increased (more of him).

Here is the funny thing the anointing has nothing to do with the skill level. I am a musician a lot of people fall for that, yes it makes you feel good but that does not mean it is anointed playing or singing. And yes we as musicians have this need to release what is inside but a lot of times it is look at me and fish for compliments because you can bet if every time you played you got no compliments you would not be so apt to play. That's just human nature "Truth "Not bagging on my man he's great.
