Wow! Those are beautiful! I always wondered how they got the design on top. How deep did you press the knife to make markings? I live close to St Louis, which has the largest Bosnian population, and we have some great restaurants.

Thank you so much. I first tried to press it with a wooden stick. It didn't leave any markings, or they quickly disappeared. I pressed halfway through the bread. I have a lot of Serbian friends. It's a big community here in Arizona, too. Their culture is probably the closest to Russian. The food is amazing!
