When I watched this on New Year's Eve (2012), I was so deeply moved, had a premonition of something going to happen in my life. Fifteen days later on my birthday, the doctor told me I had cancer. But I am still here because of good doctors.

I admit that this is the best musical I've ever seen, even if it always makes me cry (especially when Marius sings "Empty Chairs At Empty Tables"). The actors are just PERFECT!!! And this perfection makes me cry!!😭 I didn't know that this film/musical once would have made me feel this way..... I JUST LOVE IT😍😍😍

As soon as I finished watching the movie, I was almost crying. This music gave me chills. I sat there for a few minutes just completely in awe of the movie I had just watched. Les Miserables is one of my favourite movies ever (I have to say, 1917 takes the number one spot. This comes in a very close second) and I’ve now watched it nearly 8 times- 😳

According to Tom hooper, it was the same orchestra as was heard on the 25th anniversary concert. As for the Thénardier gypsy band players, they were just randomly selected, and a few of them have imdb pages including other film credits.
