Yeah, I feel like a lot of "budget" travel content on youtube and social media is not really budget at all 😅

If you just stay in on location and eat cheap you'll definitely be fine with €600 (depending how much you party)! I didn't really look up the prices for monthly rentals, but depending on the city and standard I'm pretty sure you can find something in your price range! 😄

Any thoughts on a video of how much you can spend if you go full throttle? Great video thanks for sharing!

Depends on what you mean! If you mean faster travel, it's gonna be a higher daily budget, but since you save days of accomodation and food, it would be cheaper in the end (to visit the same amount of places we visited)! If you mean how much we COULD spend, then the sky is the limit 😂 Probably won't make a video about either though, since I prefer slower travel and am on a budget! Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching 😊

I went full throttle in Thailand beginning of the year, I spent 6 months there and spent around $4000 USD a month which is kind of excessive for most. I rented a super nice condo in Bangkok for $2000 USD for my personal security. I had near 30k worth of camera equipment with me. Ate what I wanted, went out whenever I wanted, smoked a lot of herb and just traveled to as many provinces as I could. I am also only 27 though, so I just moved around and stayed in Bangkok when I didn't. In total, I probably spent $26K USDish maybe more? I honestly didn't keep track, I had a great 2020s honestly. I plan to go back next year lol

Very confusing video man, it's just you talking no actual examples. Everything you've said could be your imagination, not saying it's fake, but better have a video where ppl show the things they are putting a price on.

Hmm, I kinda get what you mean actually. The video was very improvised and not scripted, so I guess I didn't really give any good examples. Is there anything in particular you were wondering about? But I'll give you some examples: In general we paid between $10-15 for a private room per night, and a meal at a cheap restaurant (like Pad Thai or fried rice with chicken) sets you back $1-2. A bottle of water is $0.10-0.20. A ride with Grab or Bolt (and taxi) for 20 minutes is around $2.50, depending on distance. For an 11 hour night bus from Pua to Bangkok we paid ~$17 per person. Hope that clears it up a bit!
