Dave you are a master! Don't even look at your fret hand and calling out chords. Nice Marshall stack too. This is one of my favorite old break up tunes, glad to learn it. Thanks man. 🤙🏻

Nice job I have two more beautiful songs from the 70s. “What’s forever for” I believe that is also Michael Johnson and “Falling” by Leblanc and Carr

Nice Dave. So many nuances that make it come to life. I’ve said it before… your attention to detail is stellar. Most of us do skeleton versions of songs. Mastering all of those intricacies and adding them to our accompaniments would definitely turn heads. Too bad most of are just lazy asses… okay, maybe it me that’s the lazy ass. Like we always say, “Very G…” Damn, tape ran out again.

you do a great job translating these songs, and I really appreciate you not doing the “ok, put your first finger hear, second finger there” for every single chord, I like trying to figure that out for myself, it helps with memorization. I grew up with these songs and you help pointing out those elusive pieces/chords I’ve been searching for for years. I can inundate you with a boatload of requests but I wont do that. Thanks for the workload 😅

Such a pretty song! As always, Dave, thanks for sharing that most rarest of gifts: knowledge of the instrument and the ability to impart it!

Hate to even suggest a lesson idea, but the world interwebs seem to be lacking a good lesson on "Believe or Not", the theme song to Greatest American Hero TV show.

Dave, having never heard this song or artist, I immediately found and listened to it....twice. This is a real gem. Due to past breakups, i can relate to the lyrics, and a beautiful flowing melody rounds out a great song. Good pick👍

I stand corrected what’s forever for is by Michael Murphy I believe he did wildfire those two guys confused me Michael Murphy and Michael Johnson since they both write beautiful ballads. Do you know the song what’s forever for from the 70s and also Falling from the 70s?

Used to do What's Forever For in a country band. He also did Cherokee Fiddle that Johnny Lee covered in Urban Cowboy that I just love as well.
