This is a video I did to help the other guitarist in our band. It is the main parts in the order they come up in the song but I have not laid out the song completely. You just need to work on each part and then put them together.
One alternative not shown is to play an alternating E and A chord during the riff that starts the song and is repeated at times. Use a 4 count, 1 measure each with a bit of bounce to your strum. I do this to counter his and the bass playing the riff which compliments our keys.
If you are curious, the guitar is one I built from kit parts purchased at a Chicago music store while in college around 1982. The hardware was junk, but the wood was good. Carvin SD's in both positions, brass bridge, bone nut and 4 coats of Butchers Wax for the finish. Never, ever does the neck get sticky or gritty. The amp you hear is my 1969 Fender Princeton.
