A severe lack of Bowie, Daft Punk, and DOOM on this list imo. Bowie truly became his characters with his fits throughout his career and they basically always hit. DP and DOOM had their respective headwear and no matter what else came with it it was always heat. Gorillaz also pretty hot I gotta say.

I’ll nominate a few more who I think deserve to be in the convo 1. Young Thug - def pushed boundaries of what’s like ‘acceptable’ in hip hop I think, with the dresses and such 2. M.I.A. - Hella stylish and it doesn’t look so far out there that you’d never wear it on the street or something. 3. Future - Hella clean fits and doesn’t miss on accessories. Dapper as fuck 4. ASAP Rocky - Kinda hit or miss but very fashion forward IMO, when his outfits land they LAND 5. Rihanna - Asides from some more recent stuff her looks are hella clean and unlike Rocky I think it looks reasonable to wear out

Margiela didn't want the models to be the main focus of the show so he used the masks to hide their status. Margiela had the same thing in mind when preparing the looks for Kanye's tour-don't focus on the artist and just focus on his art. just a tidbit if you didn't know

There are some clothes that if some artists wear these days like a glove, a red jacket, military anything, hell he even would ask people at hotels if he could have their jackets and they ended up being statements, and now if someone wears them all you think is "inspired by MJ". It's insane how he made his look become so iconic to just him.

From his clean suits during his session years, to The Yardbirds 60s frills, to mysterious and dangerous dragon themes in Led Zeppelin, and now the slim-tapered classic black outfits and coats befitting of a powerful and wise wizard - which he is. This is the hill I’m willing to die on: Brian Jones was the most fashionable man of the entire 1960s. More than any of the other Stones, more than the Beatles, more than Hendrix, even more than Bowie who was sadly was missing from this video. The drippiest of all the peacock dandies.
