Wow, this is a great video! I'm curious why you need an air tank if you already have a compressor, what does the tank do? Thanks for the video!

What is the point of the regulator ... since its on the back end of the tee behind both the main air port and the solenoid the only air it can regulate is the input going into the tank not what comes out ?

If I were to by a complete ankle blaster with a PicoBoo ONE and a motion sensor. Would the PicoBoo one come programmed to run? I have no idea how to run a PicoBoo controller. Or where can I learn?

Thanks for the tutorial is really good, is there a way to control the distance it comes out, let say 3 different pre-set distances with a press of a button

With the step at 4:41, you might want to wear some safety glasses when removing those fittings. With the last air cannon I built the tank had about 10 PSI in it straight from the store and blew metal bits and debris at my face when I removed the fitting!

Good tip! Always a good idea to have safety glasses on when working with air and a good reminder never to aim props like this at people's faces!

What would happen if you use a pancake air compressor on a pop ankle air blaster?

If you didn't have an air compressor could do use a co2 tank? and if so how long would a large one last?
@PropGuru702

I built something like this and a decent sized tank will get a few dozen shots at least but with the current price of co2 it costs about $4 per blast by my calculations

Probably more like once every 5-10 seconds.

I used a two channel RF remote to trigger my blaster, I wired one to the blaster and the other to a 12v airhorn from Harbor Freight. Now I can trigger the air or horns fromt he remote I carry around in my pocket. I hit the kids with a one two punch...

Why the added flange on the end if the pipe?
@FrightProps

That can be used to attach the blaster to the back of a wall or inside a crate. Drill a hole for the air to come out and then you can use screws or bolts through the flange to secure the blaster in place.

should add to the video using a picaboo with sensor to control it

That would basically be the same as around the 9:30 mark in Episode 1: kzitem.info/news/bejne/lHik3piCpquZmqA You could use a simple PicoBoo ONE controller and easily connect a motion sensor to that.
