A&W Root Beer came from the US and it’s based off a fast food restaurant usually found in the Midwest and East Coast. There are very few in California or LA where I am from. I do miss shopping in Singapore haha. Great vid.

Kettle chips especially the brand that they sell at that supermarket is more popular in the US. It’s high fashion potato chips but not worth the extra price if u have to pay a lot more.

Gai(加) or Gao Siew Dai, 是广东话。by the way, Gao
this June I went to the shopping mall next to hotel De Chine at taipei station. The coffee was selling at 台币140 per cup. At the Jason supermarket A packet of pork same size as the one at ntuc was selling about S$5. Same price as Spore. a raw chicken was selling at about S$5+ in a wet market at 万华。you all always say a Taiwanese graduate earns about NT22k starting pay so at this price isn't the cost of living higher than spore. I admit our car prices are more expensive but our Hdb houses are definitely cheaper than Taiwan. Nowadays house prices are beyond d reach of the younger generation in taiwan

The problem with Taiwan is private property is way out of their reach too and the government are not building enough public houses. At least in Singapore, there is an option of living in public houses. Singaporean do not have to worry there is no roof over the head.

Hi Lee, fully agreed with you. Most of the Taiwanese in Singapore like to comments how cheap and good of their products, compared with Singapore's products. Since they think that our products are so expensive and not as good as Taiwan, wonder why more and more Taiwanese still like to look for job in Singapore.
You all made the same mistake I did for 20+ yrs. It should be 白花蛇舌草水.

A few comment to add to your wonderful video, which I enjoy very much! (I'm singaporean by the way) - If you like the PRIMA Chilli crab or LAKSA instant noodle, you will like the PRIMA pre-mix pack you take during your show, bring back as a gift or cook it for your family. (chilli crab, laksa, prawn noodle are all good) - MILO gao siew dai, thick (more cocoa powder) and less milk - Singapore MILO comes mainly from australia, bought malaysia version (made in malaysia) the taste is different! - Russell, Paula, you should do a video visiting singapore chicken farm (yes we have them) and those 金龙鱼 farm, fish farm, koi farm, dragon fruit farm, vegetable farm etc... mostly near northwest singapore, you need a bike or e-scooter to go around though, too big. - You two visited one of the biggest fairprice(we call them NTUC) in singapore (AMK Hub) so you find so many things which other smaller fairprice (NTUC) don't have. Keep doing your vids!! enjoyed them very much!

Hello Russell & Paula. 我推薦Red Rock Deli Style Potato Chips - Sweet Chili & Sour Cream。
A & W Rootbeer (Sarsparialla). I don't like Ovaltine, Milo, and Horlicks hot drinks. Best cold beverages that you can get in Singapore (in my humble opinion) fresh coconut juice, any freshly squeeze fruit juices, freshly made soya bean milk, or freshly squeeze cane juice. Can you get cane juice and sweetened soya bean milk in Taiwan? 7:53 I think is 茄子
Fairprice Xtra may offer items not found in Fairprice and Fairprice Finess, and so their bulk purchase is not high qty, then I guess naturally these items will be more expensive. But, for the same item that can be found in Fairprice, Fairprice Xtra and Fairprice Finess, I would think price should be the same across them.
There are those who enjoys and finds this entertaining, alright?
