If you have passed PLAB 1 and PLAB 2 exam after passing OET or IELTS, doesn’t matter if you have GMC registration and NHS job or not, you can move to New Zealand and get yourself registered with Medical Council of New Zealand.
If you have passed PLAB 1 and PLAB 2 but no NHS experience the pathway will be examination registration pathway for New Zealand Medical Council registration. After this process which is explained in the video, you will work under supervision for 2 years as a PGY1 doctor and PGY2 doctor before getting full registration with Medical Council of New Zealand.
If after PLAB 1 and PLAB 2 exam you got GMC registration and is working in the NHS as a junior doctor, after having 12 months experience you can move to New Zealand via United Kingdom General Registrants pathway. And you will have to work under supervision for 12 months as a SHO or F3 doctor.
The numbers of NHS doctors moving to New Zealand and Australia is increasing day by day as NHS is getting saturated now. In New Zealand you can start training as well.
