I'm from Iowa and no one ever mentions it so I gasped when you said you were going there 😂

Hi , I love your videos, they're really helpful. I have a question, do the recruiters help you train prior the actual PT and written exam?

So you can move out of the dorm provided to you & move into a home like the one that you’re currently at? Can someone pls explain. Also I didn’t know you can share a house with other roommates like u were b4. Can you do that right away or do you have to live were you’re told to do so for a while?

If you are unmarried, you will live in the base dorms for a few years until you rank up/serve long enough to move up. There are cases where you can move out early if they need the rooms but usually it takes a while. Once you're allowed to move out you can live wherever works for you, whether that's alone in apartments or with roommates elsewhere. If you're marrried, you won't live in dorms at any point.

When I was stationed in England I got to rent a townhouse with a co-worker because they closed the dorm on our small communications site. That was great! Then when I got back to the states I was stuck in a dorm again. Then I was going to get married and was given permission to get an apartment off base before the wedding. The marriage never happened (she backed out at the last minute -- ouch) but the USAF let me keep the apartment as a single airman for the my remaining months of my enlistment.
