So I was in the middle of another project when I came across a blog post on pinterest (janetgranger.wordpress.com/20...) that had THE CUTEST 5-petal drawstring bag. I knew right away that I need to make one ASAP; however, the author used a textbook (Elizabethan Needlework Accessories) and it was roughly $40 USD off amazon. I decided I could make my own version by winging a pattern. My petal pattern piece ended up being 9cm at the base, 15cm at the widest part, and 22.25cm in height. The base pentagon was 10.5cm for each side. For the inner bag I used 12 ich (30.5cm) radius. While mine turned out well and functional I know there are better ways to do this (like maybe buy the book?). If you decide to make one definitely check out the re-cap at the end of the video to see what I would've done differently.
Thanks for watching :)
