This is why I still consider it wise to put money aside in order for me to attain my $1M net worth in 5 years. I’ve come to understand in life that the only thing we can’t get back is time. I want to be time rich. I’m halfway there. With financial discipline, I know I’ll make it to my goal. I am a financial developer, I live below my means. No mortgages ever again. If you’re curious to know how to get your life back on track, from my experience, the best way I tripled my net worth in a year was through my financial advisor. Something else could work for you. It’s just all about clear vision, and discipline. Avoid debt. Cut cost if you’re looking to be rich. Maybe, someday I’ll own that family ranch, and enjoy my life even more. Great video overall. Keep up the good work.

Let me detail to y'all exactly how the scam works. TLDR: Sell crappy life insurance products with exorbitant fees and surrender charges packaged as a long-term investment for "financial freedom". Whether your client makes money or not, you will get paid regardless as long as they do not lapse the policy and continue paying premiums. If you're willing to trade your conscience for money, this is the perfect ponzi scheme to get into. 1. First off, the MLM has to sell you the prospect that you're going to help your clients achieve financial freedom. As long as you work hard, hustle, blah blah you will reach financial freedom along with your clients. Hallelujah. 2. You're going to be presented with several investment products to sell. These life insurance plans are cherrypicked based off of the relationship the company has with the insurance companies they partner with. You will quickly discover which product will yield you the highest commission and basically you will sell one or two products no matter who your client is, while giving them the illusion that you have carefully chosen an insurance scheme that fits them just right. 3. Products with the highest commission will generally lock your clients' money in for years, where they constantly pay premiums and incur massive surrender charges if they try and withdraw earlier. You convince them that it's fine, since investing is a constant process and you're trying to invest long-term right? This is how everyone does it! 4. To your dismay, the fees while seemingly insignificant at first, add up to an insane amount once you start managing the investments for your clients through the insurance plan you sold them. Most of the time, even if you can cover the fixed management fee of the insurance company with brilliant investing (you probably won't), there are further fees on any gains that you make. 5. Your client will likely lose money but it doesn't matter because they might lose even more money if they stop paying premiums or lapse the policy. Thus, you'll be fine regardless but your clients will all inevitably be suckers. 6. Once you run out of suckers, in fact before you even do, the company will ask you to recruit. It increases their legitimacy and helps them scale. You are told that you will receive a cut of their commissions on top of your own, and since you have a finite amount of time to manage your own clients, you cannot continue growing unless you take on a team. 7. You find yourself wealthier, but at the expense of your clients who will undoubtedly lose more than they will gain.

I've actually gone to join an insurance business just like this because I wanted to help people, and learn about the industry. It turns out they make money by getting me ( and every other sucker) to join and less from actually selling the insurance. I hate these MLMs

You lose a significant portion up front to commissions, and it will take you ~ 10 years to get back to your principal investment. It also grows slow as piss. Yes, there are great lengths to the business and you have to put the work in order to make the business work. But at the end of the day, ask yourself is it moral of what you're doing, and is this how you really want to make money? I've been through PHP, it works, but in the end, it's not a great way to make money. Cons of Schemes like this is that they are eventually going to fall in the future. Gabriel Garcia Correct, PHP recruits, licenses, trains and develops life insurance brokers. It’s for entrepreneurs, probably not for you. Incorrect. Revenues come from life and annuity sales. You can't tell me global investment banks with whole divisions dedicating hundreds of billions of dollars to this are getting much lower returns to an average Joe starting with a few weeks of knowledge. No free lunch. Efficient market hypothesis. Any sort of arbitrage in these situations should be competed away. Obviously completely efficient/perfect markets don't exist and anomalies and inefficiencies do happen that can be traded on, but they're far and few between and that's another topic.
