I love those envelope journals. They make great inserts for lapbooks and other travel notebooks. Easy to follow process. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Sharyl, I like these envelope journals, I haven’t made any yet, so I’m even later to the party than you 😂. I like how you have a master board for each different book, you are so organised. My journals are made mostly with junk and scrapbook paper as I don’t use/have digitals, as I don’t have a printer or computer. The journal I am currently working on has a paper bag from a grocery store as the cover, with the paper handles intact, this is the third journal I have done this way, I think they look cute and the handles come in handy. I also love to use beads in my books as I have loads of them from when I used to make jewellery, I use all sorts of different things, my husband is a locksmith, so I am always going through his rubbish and “saving” keys and parts off locks and door fittings, even some of the small boxes and cardboard packaging, he just looks at me and shakes his head 😂, why not I say, it’s free and I’m saving it from land fill and giving it a new purpose. Penmanship, my two kids, not kids anymore, 30 and 25, have terrible writing, they went through school right at the time when each child had to have their own laptop or tablet, I think bad idea 👎, they can both type fast but can’t write properly. I’m not the biggest fan of new technology 😂, I much prefer when time was slower, the world was safer and a much nicer place, the good old days, I feel sad for these generations, they missed out on so much, I turn 54 tomorrow. I enjoy watching you from start to finish, at regular pace, I treat it as a visit, although, you don’t seem to hear me for some reason 🤷🏻♀️🤣, I’m just not loud enough 😂 I suppose. Anyway, thanks for the visit and I look forward to seeing the flip throughs 👍🥰❤️🇦🇺🤗

I think of your comments as a kind of visit too. I appreciate every time I see you checking in. I will try to listen harder from here on out. 😊❤👽🦓

I have a 100% junk journal started from a Pepsi carton. I have been wanting to do what I'm calling to myself a "purist" journal from original ephemera, with a lot of vintage and older books. Red onion skins? We normally drink instant coffee. So I just make a little cup as needed. I want to start using the crystals more full strength. I haven't really done that yet.

Feel free to share advice and ideas if you see any of my 100% journey. I think it might pose some challenges.
