these paint making videos are one of my favorite things on youtube 😍beautiful and relaxing. i miss the crunchy sound from the mortar and pestle but it's cool to see different techniques. i'm curious if it's different bc pear's process has changed or if it's because these are oil paints

your paint making is so soothing to watch BUT your painting is what i can rewatch over and over again (i watched your oil pastel video more than 10 times for sure), HOW YOU CAN PAINT EVERYTHING BEAUTIFULLY? i guess you can even use every grade of mediums to make stunning arts :')

A friend used to make her paints then paint on brown wrap paper, while not really a stable surface the saturation of color was fantastic, maybe clear gesso) just wear protective gear when using cadmium colors

Japanese and Chinese mineral pigments you can buy easily. It is not miracle, you can make the same by yourself

Цвета получились такие яркие что мне даже стало завидно😆 Обычно мне так сложно найти совершенный красный, а тут вы так неожидано сделали его тёмным и насыщенным. Это так удивительно и вселяет надежду. Я рада что можно сделать этот сочный и яркий красный. P.S. Очень хорошее качество звука.

It took me a few days to make the paint and then painted in one sitting! I could only make 2-3 colors a day :)

You can mull the paint on a smooth glass slab but making the glass frosted helps with speeding up the process of getting the paints to a smooth consistency!
