Been a Blender user for about 6 years now. But I set time aside each day to watch and follow one of your 10min challenge videos. Keeps the blender skills sharp and I always learn something new or a new/easier way to model something. I look forward to it every day. Just wanted to say thank you and keep up the great work!

I think it's called knut (corner of the house) due to methods called knuttimring, used to basically lock the logs to each other in the corners, in ol' log cabins. FYI! :) Great video. Love the randomize transform on the tiles on the roof. Great way to give it some life!

Can you model an octagon shaped castle with square shaped towers in the middle of each wall, where the lower part fits onto a cherry MX key switch and all be manifold in order to 3d print it? I failed several times after all geometry is done it simply turns out not being manifold and therefore it can not be sliced for 3d printing. It's like I join two basic shapes and the result is always not manifold... :-( Help

it's a really nice end result. while watching i was thinking "whoa that's a bit extreme" when you were proportional editing, but then it all just came togethrer at the end and all just works to produce a nice result. good job, im going to attempt to replicate this style as ive been making low-poly buildings just now but i wasn't happy with them - their look was just too basic. I think if i took inspiration from your style then that would give them what's missing 👍 as always, loving your content, and im looking forward to whatever you come up with next 😄

I love the extra bit at the end where you add all the details! But I think your daughter might get mad for cheating! Lmao Also, at the end when you were fixing the cliff, when you go to delete that vertex, you can do "Dissolve vertex" from the delete menu, and it would have kept all the faces there without that middle vertex.
